Some texturing is definitely needed and as Satishjogi said- some floor work. On the other side I love that milky look of the image and the texturing will surely ruin it.

Add more contrast to the image, and some glossiness on the wood floor? I dont think the wall white should be the same white material on the furniture, maybe a warmer white on the walls? And that light fixtures on the ceiling can throw more light and diffuse the fixture a bit as well.. Hope that helps :)
