Hi Rikard,
Thanks for taking the time to write back. I'm fairly new to 3d visualization, and while I've been doing a lot of tutorials on modeling, texturing, etc., I'm having a really hard time finding good tutorials on post-work in Photoshop.
From what I understand, the best renders include probably more work in Photoshop than the render itself. I know the keys to creating the subtle differences that distinguish a good image from a great one are probably a lot of little adjustments done in Photoshop. Unfortunately, like i said, I haven't found many good tutorials to follow.
So, since you've so kindly offered, would it be much trouble to email me that breakdown of how you've achieved that lighting/atmosphere? It would help me a lot! My email is schuetze.ben@gmail.com. No rush, whenever you have the time.
Thanks a lot!

Hello Ben! Thanks for your comment!
Well, I guess there's not to many things to mention in this image.. The render doesn't look like much at all :) I add a LOT in photoshop and think that's why it looks like it does. The beach/dunes consists of probably 4-6 images that I liked. Paying attention to the overall light in the image and matching colors I think is key!
Finding a good composition and trying to tell a story in some way (this may not be the case here) ;)
Lots of adjustmentlayers in photoshop, perhaps changing blending modes with the merged entire image on top will get you some interesting "moods".
Color balancing is important too - try and make it black and white and then add colors from a smaller palette?
I can email you a breakdown on monday (earliest) if you wish?
Cheers!
