I would suggest that, to me, the choice of view is not all that interesting and the choice of furniture not very imaginative. Makes the room look very dingy because it doesnt look like its getting any natural light. I would probbaly have changed the view to include a window so you get the view out, perhaps also you could study some modern house magazines or some of the interior renders here to get more of an idea what fancy modern interior stuff to use, and perhaps change the view to a more interesting low down view through the table or something like that so that the most intersting piece of furniture is in focus and the rest of the room slightly out of focus or something? Also maybe employ some correction to the camera so that all the horizontals are completely vertical, do this by right clicking on the camera in top view and selecting camera correction from the menu.
