Actually, sorry you probably mean more light to the side of the new building where the new path is. Yes, would be good good to add this,

Agree that a bit of light hitting the new building would have been good. The sun was coming from the other way though which made it difficult. Interestingly there is a bit of light reflecting from the glass on the other side of street which is seen in the original photo. In a way the new proposal blocks out quite a bit of light which is a shame and would have liked to avoid this.

Now you mention it....
you could have done a strip of sunlight up the building as the street has a break to the right and you can see the sun coming across the photo.

nice camera motch. I think you should give the photo and render some treatment so they match. You could start with a noise layer on the render. Its quite a scratchy photo.

Nice job Peter. I think that the brick texture is a little to saturated (it stands out)
