Still, I don't think this render says as much about the environment as it could with more consideration to the viewpoint and composition.

I guess the name can be confusing. The project was for an urban planning firm. The actual rendering was more about a modern plaza in Saudi Arabia. In a planning firm architecture is second to the enviroment... I do agree though if the Mosque was the focus the camera needs to be adjusted.

I don't mind the textures as much as the view - since it's titled "Mosque Plaza", why is the mosque off to the side like that? And since a plaza is a lot like an empty space, it's important to have a view that engages it in some interesting way. It's hard to know what that is, but it may require some outside the box thinking - for example, shooting from a second story window of the building on the left, toward the mosque, tilted downward with a bit of DOF to call out the fountain area.

I agree. Unfortunatly I was pressed for time on this one... So i was stuck using the quickest textres i could create.
I think I could possibly improve the depth if I move the sun to the right or left, it is probably to in line with the camera as it currently is.
Thanks!

Very good man ... but feel it kinda 2D .. need more depth .. and may be more work on the bricks material in the flower boxes ... need to be more bumpy and less reflective i think
