nice very good my friend
Thanks Surendran :)
I like the image, nice job surendran
Just glad I could help out mate
Thanks Peter, I added the DOF after Steve suggested it. I may post a render with and without and get some more opinions. I don't use DOF much so I am still getting a feel for it. The ceiling fan is if anything a bit to large. It's a 54" so maybe it's just the perspective. I have been playing with the plant textures, I think I may need to add a little more variation and translucency. The blinds are penetrating! LOL good call. I re-did the window and must have missed that. Thanks :)
Pretty solid piece mate Not sure if I like the DOF effect though, can't put my finger on it but it somehow looks a little weird Isn't the ceiling fan a little too small? Finally the plant might look a little plastic, me being nitpicky! :) Are the curtains penetrating the window frames?
Steve, I see what you mean but that is not the type of mood I was going for though the DOF was a good tip, thanks :) Saul, I think you are right that the BG needs to be brighter, I'll give it a go and post the results. Thanks for the comments. Arshad, Thanks for the comment.
Steve is right, some directional lights would make it more natural ;)
I like it. Good image. If I were to change anything, I'd up the gamma on the outside to make it look more bleached. Especially with the chair at the rear being so bright. I think it would make a massive difference to what's already a decent quality image.
Aubrey, This is kind of what DOF that I was talking about. Plants blend into the sky and soft sun light. It naturalizes your background, harmonizes your room, and gives a more realistic touch to your render as well. You don't have to do like me. It is just an idea about what a typical DOF That I meant in this case for your render. Hope it helps.

Ok, I updated the image with DOF, a new floor texture and bumped up the gloss. I'm not really happy with the way the floor turned out. I am probably going to redo it.
Hi Aubrey, how are you doing bro? I think your image would look more realistic if you consider these two main areas: 1) depth of field 2) glossiness effects For the depth of field, the background from that far distance should be seen more washed out, brighter and blurrier. This also will affect the way it looks on your indoor plant, window frame, top far end of the ceiling as well as the center sofa. For the glossiness effects, indoor plant needs more glossiness, front closest sofa needs more texture bump as well as the wood floor. To me your wood floor right now looks as soft as a vinyl floor. Increasing wood texture bump and its glossiness, would make it look more like wood. So far that is what I see. Talk to you later :)
