Hi James. In my experience there is not a great way to to really brighten your interior in post. 90% of the work and lighting has to be done in the scene its self. You've got to really pump the light in through the windows with your HDRI, and then add in artificial lighting the same way a photographer would. In this shot I've got some windows and a large Vray softbox behind the camera. In the shot I posted yesterday I have the HDRI outside, and four artificial lights on the interior. Of course I do get the last 10% of it in Photoshop by overlaying lighting, reflection, refraction, and zdepth passes masked out to my liking. Nice lighting is rarely straight forward and simple. A good exercise is to find an interior photo with really nice lighting, and then create a simple scene and try to match it. You'll be amazed how many lights it will take to recreate the look.

Hi. Great work. I've got one question. How do you achieve really bright interiors in your renders? I always try to do that by increasing my exposure during post production but that never ends well.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I was actually checking out your Open Air Bedroom rendering last night. I love the composition, color scheme and overall quality.
Keep up the good work!

Nice mood with this one, very warm and inviting. The rug turned out especially well, it looks very softened.
Great Job!
