I'm not sure what you are trying to communicate with this view. Right now, all that I learn from this image is that there is a big column blocking the front door. I'd work on your view, and the story that it tells then repost. I think you'll then be likely to get more technical comments. You might want to indicate which rendering engine you are using with SketchUp! so that folks can provide you with application specific advice.
