Thanks! Of course not, no. It was billed on a job-to-job basis, so done in phases.
Rwande - the client actually owns all of the artwork and sculptures in the piece. And the cars...!
mattPesquet - thanks. as I mentioned before, and in the "making-of" article, the brief from the client was not to produce a nice architectural "film", but to produce an explanatory "A-to-B" piece, showing what each space looks like and how to get from space to space, so interesting camera moves and motion blur etc. were not an option for us this time. Hopefully in the next project!

Did you have a blank check to do what you needed to do?
Did you bill by the hour or per image?
Nice work I also prefer mental ray.

nice work..i would be very curious to know what kind of client can afford 40 stills/15min of animation just for 1 project...
i think camera movement could be improved...its a bit "boring", and too fast sometimes...just my 2 cents
great work anyway

Several people have suggested it and it's definitely something we're going to look at next time. Motion Vectors and post MB work well in many cases. Hope we get time and the opportunity to employ it next time :)

Got it, well to bad, but they also have a point somehow. Maybe a render element (zdepth), and get the motion blur in post production, could generate a nice and quick motion blur, and have 2 versions of animation with one rendering time. So client has his version without motionblur and you got the cool one :d .
Anyway, great job.
Thanks for the answer.

Hi Pura,
Thanks for the kind words. Yes there's no MB in this project. This was because the architects wanted to make sure that the client could pause the video at any point and take stills from it, with no blurring, so MB wasn't an option.
Thanks again,

Excelent work guys.
I would ask about the animation`s motion blur, I have the feeling it`s missing.
Anyway, great light`s and mood, Congratulations !!!
All the best, Ambrozoom3D

still many times better than the uncomfy furniture from Lebanon and the Middle East.
So I guess the budget for this was over a quarter million?

Thanks Mazen. Indeed, we had no choice in the furniture or artwork at all really. The client actually owns these pieces!

I'm not too fond of the furniture and I guess its not your choice but overall great images.
