Jr. 3D Artist (Modeling)

Position Summary:
As a junior artist (modeling) you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models for architectural projects. Your responsibilities include utilizing 3D modeling software, interpreting architectural plans, maintaining attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines, showcasing portfolio work, and collaborating with the team. you will play a crucial role in bringing architectural designs to life through accurate and visually appealing 3D models.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize 3D modeling programs such as SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Unreal engine 5, and related software to create detailed and accurate architectural 3D models.
  • Read and comprehend architectural plans, ensuring accurate representation in 3D models.
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for design aesthetics and maintain great attention to detail in all aspects of 3D modeling and rendering.
  • Work on a flexible hourly schedule to meet project deadlines.
  • Showcase recent sample projects to demonstrate your skills and capabilities. Adapt to a fast-paced environment with project turnaround times of 1-3 days. Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Attend short daily check-in meetings and one review meeting on a biweekly cadence.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong understanding of architectural renderings, 3D modeling, and visualization processes.
  • Proficient in using Unreal Engine 5, 3Ds Max, Corona, SketchUp and/or other similar rendering software.
  • Be able to read and understand architectural plans from PDFs, CAD Files and Revit files.
  • Has great presentation skills when it comes to walkthrough animations for architectural projects.
  • Has a keen eye and great attention to detail.
  • Knowledgeable in Revit and AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.

This position will work closely with Sr & Jr. Project Manager, Chief Operating Officer and CEO to ensure alignment and execution of projects.
Compensation:
  • Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience)
  • Bi-weekly pay schedule
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week
  • 25 paid days off (available after a 3-month probationary period)
