GRAPHIC DESIGN
The majority of my experience has been gained from my involvement in graphic design.
I began working in editorial design and soon after in creative production, designing book covers. During this time, I was able to draw on all the special effects so frequently used in graphic arts.
Later on, I moved to the world of publicity as an art director, where I had to learn and familiarise myself with new concepts related to publicity and marketing.
COMPUTER GRAPHICS
I have always been keen to learn new things. During my time working as a graphic designer, I set out to learn more about 3D illustration in order to enhance my designs, and it was not long before I developed a great interest in this discipline. Learning about 3D and my passion for architecture (in fact, when I started out, I studied delineation) led me to collaborate in computer-aided design projects.
DESIGN of COMMERCIAL PREMISES, CONCEPTUALISATION of SHOPPING CENTRES
My knowledge of graphic design, together with 3D illustration, enabled me to jump from the publicity sector to commercial architecture. I began working for a multinational design and architecture company, specialising in commercial centres. As time went on, I started to work alongside the developer, designing commercial centres. Although this position is traditionally held by architects, the experience I had acquired in design, publicity, computer graphics and designing commercial premises made me the ideal candidate to work alongside the architects.
