About Christos Bourantas
I am a digital designer, filmmaker and architect. I have a passion for telling stories and conceiving new worlds. I hold an Architecture degree from the National Technical University of Athens (ΜArch, BArch). Between 2008‐2017 I worked as a freelancer, focusing on architectural design & visualization, while exploring other creative fields, including animation, video art, sound design and writing, through various commissions and collaborations. I have been involved in production design and art direction for the moving image and was awarded with the Special Jury Prize for my animation work Aurelia (AIFF 2015). I have worked as a tutor in 3D design seminars, participated in various group art shows and in 2018 I had my first solo exhibition Fractoids (A-DASH project space, Athens). Since 2017 I have been working as a Research Associate for the Media, Art & Innovation Lab at the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” in Athens, Greece.
