Moonlight | 2020

Image created as a personal project
The aim was to achieve a delicate and sophisticated moonlight mood. Warm against cold. A movie set to give some sort of interest to the architectural environment, avoiding at the same time a focus unbalance.
The whole scene has been modeled from scratch, volumetric included. People added in post-production. People inside building coming from AXYZ design collection.

I hadn't made any digital painting in almost 15 years and that was enough. I missed that expressive brushwork which would just suggest instead of defining. Here's my first sketch after the long break but it will definitely be followed by other ones as I found this workflow to be really relaxing again.
