About Edson Rodolfo Villarreal Carrillo
Architect by profession; self-taught artist. Interested in the production of images and conceptual approaches; in the processes of layout and the definition of a visual language, going from the loose and suggestive sketch to a defined and measured parti, in search of the concretion of spatial ideas. The initial interest in architectural projection was clarified to the point of developing a critique of contemporary habitation. In this respect, my work focuses on exposing the interactions of the individual with the prefabricated, as well as the analysis of the physical built environment focused on the documentation of the spaces of transience; the diffuse periphery of the city; and the relevance of the customary scenario.
