Both of my two grandfathers were train engineers in Sivas, the place I was born. Unfortunately, I have never seen, because we’d lost them before I born.

But I heard too much memory about them. In Sivas, winters are severe, cold and long. So, snow means too much thing for people who lives in Sivas.

Then I decided to decipt a winter scene with a steam passenger train has just departed from old station building, in memory of my grandfathers. I only placed two people , My father “Ahmet Turan Alkan” and my mother “Suheyla Alkan’’ say farewell to black giant machine to strengthen emotions in the story.

This was a free project, mainly to test the new features of Terragen3.
All plants and objects have been build with Cinema4D and then were brought to Terragen to assemble and render the scene.
TG is a nice addition to C4D/Vray, especially for large landscapes.
