About Flavia Bandeira
Architect and Urbanist graduated from the Centro Universitario de Brasilia in June 2014. Worked as an intern at the company OPEN SPACE Sustainability Consulting Ltd., between March 2011 and August 2011. During those six months did research on Sustainability and worked on implementing sustainable concepts in residential properties, Acquavilla, development by CAENGE S.A. . From May 2012 until now is an intern at Estudio MRGB, Architecture and Urbanism studio, founded in 2005. The office has received numerous awards for projects and built works. In 2013, in collaboration with Flavia Groba Bandeira, the office won the third prize in the Competition Comandante Ferraz Antarctic Station, contest promoted by IAB - RJ. In academic life, along with fellow Paola Sabino and Vinicius Mariquito, got Honorable Mention in the Competition for Students - School of Theatre, Dance and Music - Rio de Janeiro, promoted by Projetar.org. Graduated in Advanced English at Casa Thomas Jefferson in Brasilia (2009) and in Italian by Dante Alighieri School (2011). Has a vast knowledge in Autodesk AutoCAD, 3DsMax and Maya. Participated in workshops that used software such as Rhinoceros 3D and Processing. The inspiration for her works comes mainly from traveling experiences. In 2007, did cultural exchange in London. In 2011, she traveled to Germany and the Netherlands accompanied by architecture students and teachers of the Centro Universitario de Brasilia, in order to meet sustainable projects. In 2012, she took Italian language classes at Scuola Leonardo da Vinci in Milan, Italy. And currently is studing 3D Animation at New York Film Academy in New York, USA. She has also traveled to the following countries : Argentina , Chile , Mexico , Dominican Republic , United States , Canada , Portugal , France , Scotland , Czech Republic , Hungary , Australia, New Zealand , China, UAE . Ms.Bandeira is passionate about architecture and connected fields: landscaping, urban planning, photography, film and visual arts.
