Aesthetically not the most dynamic scene but I lived there and could take all the reference photos I needed.
This is more of an exercise in trying to match my render to the photo although the foliage was a compromise.
I've hit a brick wall with the post processing as I can't see where to take it. Links to tutorials that may be suitable would be very much appreciated and informed criticism is always welcome.

For this visualization 3D project we selected together with the client a snowy Winter mood. The rigid structural piece, basically made of iron, concrete and glass, is an University Laboratory located in Zurich, Switzerland.

When I saw a friend of mine (Gunadi Winarto) done a mock up of an interior scene (walls, floors, ceiling) in accordance of his modeling practice, I immediately had an idea to do a conceptual rendering which then I named it as Ms. Anne's Dining Room. I requested the file from him and he was kind enough to give it to me, from then I modified the interior space a little bit till the final ones. Nowadays, being able to do a conceptual rendering is quite a rare-pleasure-time.

The idea of this space was to catch an angle and condition of the space as if Ms. Anne has just recently moved in to her new house where you can still see all unpacked boxes, a little bit dusty-fresh morning sun feeling, etc. I actually grabbed most of the models from my library because the way I saw it, it was adequately good for this scene.
