I have worked in the design industry for almost 20 years. Starting out as a product designer, using magic markers to illustrate design concepts through to drafting detailed drawings ready for manufacture roll out.
I have always leaned more toward illustration and as my career progressed I was introduced to 3ds max many years ago. From here I found my skill set led me to Arch Vis, and animation.
I was first employed in this field at Visualisation One in 2000, A great company who gave me the grounding to develop my skills before I moved onto Uniform in 2002.
Uniform are a great company, they grew rapidly from 5 to 20 artists in just under 3 years, We produced great work on some amazing schemes with exceptional artists.
The decision came to move onto another project, Shove gave me the opportunity to own my own studio, a partnership with a colleague of some years asked me to join him adding my skills to his, it was a major move, but the decision was swayed by ultimately being able to take control of your own work.
