Looking for Great Artists Michael Goodgold Founding Principal Michael Goodgold is the President and Founding Principal of Real Estate Arts – a 14-year-old real estate focused design, marketing and brand building agency based in New York City. Under Michael’s leadership, REA evolved from primarily an investment sales, offering memorandum design-focused agency to a branding agency that balances strategic rigor with world-class creativity. During this transition, REA achieved double-digit growth and formed strong relationships with top institutional and regional developers from around the world. Recent Highlights: +The rebranding and repositioning of Brookfield’s World Financial Center to Brookfield Place +Marketed the retail @ 666 Fifth Avenue, helping the ownership and brokerage team secure Diesel – winning REBNY’S Most Creative Retail Deal in 2011 +Helped the JBG Companies market 460 residential units winning 7 prestigious design awards. Prior to founding REA, Michael served as the Managing Director for PropertyFirst.com, based in Los Angeles, and was responsible for helping to dramatically grow this real estate focused technology company from 15 people to 300 people before the merger with LOOPNET. Michael has served as a member and officer of various business and professional organizations, including ICSC, REBNY, The Retail Network, NAIOP and AIGA. A graduate of FIT in New York, Michael was awarded a BS in Marketing and Advertising Communications. He also attended SVA with studies in Brand Strategy.
