In this remarkable pool house, modern minimalism meets organic tranquility. Set against a breathtaking mountainous backdrop, the space unfolds with a seamless blend of glass, stone, and wood, allowing it to harmonize effortlessly with its surroundings.

Panoramic Transparency
Floor-to-ceiling glass walls define the architectural experience, inviting the landscape in without interruption. These expansive windows capture sweeping views of the rolling hills beyond, transforming the rugged outdoors into a constant, living artwork. The pool house exists not as an isolated structure but as a natural extension of the environment, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces.

A Refined Palette of Neutrals
The designers opted for a restrained color palette, emphasizing warm beiges, soft greys, and muted natural tones to create a tranquil retreat. The seating area centers around a plush, U-shaped sectional sofa in understated beige, accompanied by textured grey pillows that introduce subtle variation without disrupting the visual calm. The furniture selection emphasizes comfort and functionality, without detracting from the serene ambiance of the space.

Statement Furnishings and Sculptural Accents
Artfully balancing form and function, the room’s furnishings include a striking hand-shaped armchair that introduces an element of playful sophistication. This sculptural piece, a bold contrast to the room’s otherwise restrained decor, serves as a focal point—its unique silhouette adding a touch of whimsy and artistic flair to the space. Meanwhile, brass floor lamps positioned on either side of the seating area offer slender profiles, casting a warm glow that complements the abundant natural light.

Material Harmony and Texture

"The Red Rose City"

At the beginning of January, we launched an internal employee training project. The main focus was on special lighting situations and the use of AI when integrating people into architectural renderings. A team of four of our 3D artists were given the task of interpreting a jointly developed urban situation in their own way and expressing it in emotional images. ⁠

Holly Lea is an upmarket retirement village in Fendalton Christchurch. One to One Hundred was engaged by longtime client, Generus, to produce these exterior renders of the upcoming development.

We spent a lot of time modelling the surrounding site and landscaping to achieve the ideal suburban feel and site-specificity necessary for the project. The low lighting makes the buildings seem warm and inviting.

Interesting collaboration with a Belgian architectural office for the realization
of several 3d perspectives for a single-family house.
The main volume of the house is covered with natural anthracite-colored slate cladding, while the lower volume is covered with openwork wood. An elegant combination of materials that brings an original touch to this project.
The house is located in a quiet and green setting surrounded by large trees.
A natural swimming pool develops parallel to the main volume.
