I decided to do some modelling practice and composed everything into one image.

I started with making my guitar, then I decided to do the rest - amp, effect, cable. Needed some background so I've made room, windows, curtains, sofa and lamps.

3dsMax + only colour balance and contrast in photoshop.

I'm pretty happy with the styling, mood and composition - I think its almost there except its still feeling a bit 'gamey' but I cant quite put my finger on why. I was going to add some subtle post effects like some subtle blooms, depth of field and a pinch of chromatic aberation... Any other thoughts on this?

Also, the irradiance solution is a little splotchy at this stage, will be fixed at final render time.

Would love to get feedback on anything and everything!

The environment and house are designed by myself. This is part of a new series for the MP Lighting catalogue. The shot took about 3-4 days. 3DS Max, V-Ray Forest Pro, Photoshop + a few other max scripts and plug-ins. I welcome all C&C. Thanks for taking a look.
