i would like to thank Pawel Podwojewski from cg workshop , a lot of his techniques used in the making of this image . 3d max used as the main software , vray for rendering , and photoshop for post process

i did several render shots , took about 20 moment to render , and about a day of post-work in photoshop

This piece is the product of a mix of techniques, first 3dmax2012 and zbrush for the trees, the branches where created with the modelling tools from 3dmax2012. Grass is multiscatter and the grass on the trees is multipainter.
The postproduction is a mix from photoshop and after effects, wich we are using more and more.
