About Martin Kosina

I am a 3D artist based in Brno, Czech Republic. I started my career as a creator of architectural visualizations, virtual tours, and animations. My main tasks include modeling in 3ds Max, unwrapping, texturing (using 3ds Max and Substance Painter), lighting, rendering (with Corona Renderer), and assembling virtual tours for the web. I also enjoy incorporating parametric plugins like RailClone and ForestPack into my workflow. Additionally, I prioritize optimizing scenes and models for use in real-time applications based on Unreal Engine 5 whenever possible. Furthermore, I am able to do some motion graphics in After Effects and performing post-production in Photoshop. What I love most about the 3D world is exploring the software's capabilities and making teamwork as efficient as possible. I'm not limited to one specific area of 3D, although I have advanced the furthest in architectural visualization. I enjoy every part of the pipeline, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be modeling and texturing. Given the opportunity, I'd like to expand my expertise into other areas such as the game industry or VFX. I must admit, I can't help but follow the latest trends and developments in 3D technology during my free time.
