"In Bamboo" was inspired by a Chinese poem describing the ideal relationship between a house and its rural bamboo forest surroundings. The infinite shape of the roof naturally defines two interior yards, providing a rich interior experience between what is inside and what is outside, layers and transparency create an interaction between people and light.

Inspired by the elegant simplicity of the Copas House (https://www.archdaily.com/1017913/copas-house-ppaa), I created my own minimalist version. Using 3ds Max, I modelled the structure, capturing the clean lines, open spaces, and natural textures characteristic of this architectural style. The project was then transferred to Unreal Engine 5, where I rendered it to bring out the interplay of light, shadow, and material textures in a dynamic, photorealistic environment. This workflow allowed me to explore architectural storytelling, combining precision in modelling with the immersive possibilities of real-time rendering.

The Polna Steet consists of four single-family detached houses with adjacent single-car garages, located in Klepaczy, Podlasie Voivodeship.

My task was to create a house design that would fit into the existing area and the situation on the real estate market – the goal was to build simple, aesthetic and affordable houses on small plots. I focused on an attractive garden arrangement that would be easy to recreate in real life.
