I wanted to practice a snowy scene, so I decided to do a quick weekend project. The cabin itself and the snow is all CG, done in 3DS Max and Mudbox (for sculpting the snow). I rendered in VRay with some VRay Environment Fog to diffuse the light and add some atmosphere. The background was all done in Photoshop.
