Htan San Cave was discovered by a young monk. Like all caves it was transformed into a buddhist temple, but this one is less overstuffed with buddhas than others. Its a large passage up to 10 m high and it has a cave river, which makes the floor wet and slippery. This seems to be the reason why you are allowed to keep your shoes, quite a thing for westerners. There are spacious chambers which are 100 m wide and 10 m high. And there is a lot of clay which is formed into small pagodas by worshippers, who place them on the walls as meritorious deeds.

The caretaker of the cave is an elderly novice. According to legend he vowed to cut off a finger if he was successful in his meditation. He was successful and the finger came off. This was actually not a wise decision, as you can only become a full monk if you are whole and complete. So he stayed a novice. For some reason such stories are rather common in Myanmar.

The cave is a temple and we are not sure if there is a fee for locals, but donations are obviously expected from worshippers. But there is a steep fee for foreigners, which caused many outraged comments on travel portals. But the good novice provides a vegetarian lunch to all who visit for free. And if you are lucky and he appears you can ask him permission to take a picture of him. You will be granted one picture and there are guards which will watch that you actually take only one picture.

This is a great project!
The initial task was to create a concept for an office building built using Mass Timber technology. Then another task was added - to create a store design on the first floor.
First, I studied examples of already built buildings, studied assembly technology and possible options. After that, I examined the location of this building. The building will be under construction in Iowa City and is now occupied by a small building that houses the Vice Vintage Luxury Store.
I made several sketches on paper using examples of buildings that the customer liked, the decision was made quickly enough!
Then the paper sketches were transferred to the architectural program, where the building was created using the information obtained about the technology.
The project took 77 hours and included the creation of the BIM model, environment and design of the store on the ground floor. Changes were also made during the project.
It was a very interesting project that gave everyone only positive emotions. The client was satisfied with the work done and is ready to continue cooperation in new projects.

#normandthegang was commissioned by Omar Gandhi Architect, to visualize the future of Peggy's Cove: a proposal to remove all vehicles from the current road loop in exchange for a safe, pedestrian-friendly pathway which is to be built atop the former road. The new boardwalk is fully accessible and provides two lookout points which cantilever out towards the lighthouse, providing a new perspective for those visiting again and the memory for a lifetime for those unable to navigate the rocky terrain.

At Alba, attention has been given to every detail, including how the unique shape of the building plays into the sightlines and views. The curvilinear form of the tower has created rounded spaces within the suites, which allow for captivating vistas from sunrise to sunset.

This is my Master's Degree in Architecture Visualization Final Project. I chose this building because of the raw materials and the variety of spaces in and around the building which allowed me to recreate both inside and outside spaces.
The biggest challenge was to recreate the original interior wall because of its extremelly difficult texture using multiple pictures and generating the same image as the real one.
