Qatar 2021 Horticultural Expo
In early 2019 Pixelflakes were approached by the DAR Group to complete a series of images alongside an interactive Ipad app for the World Horticultural Exposition due to be held in Qatar in 2021.
Qatars involvement is one of several progressive development milestones identified in the Qatar National Vision due for completion in 2030.
The Site consists of three areas - the Northern area will host International exhibits, while the remaining two areas will be activated by a variety of functions and experiences. Each area of the site will be programmed to offer a unique experience to participants and visitors.
Two images from the set can be seen here. The first, a Souq view designed to facilitate local makers, designers and workshops alongside food + beverage options for exposition visitors.
The second image is located in the International Garden Area, to the North of the site. This area acts as a viewing platform over looking a natural wadi, a protected site. Interactive screens allow visitors to cycle through the evolution of the area through the use of holograms and interactive overlays.
