The Cueva of New Cairo

Designing this bar with the intention of creating a luxury cave where people may come to relax and enjoy the calming effects of nature, or to channel their wild inner adventurous charka. Esca Cueva offers the best of both worlds, and my mission for this project was to add value to the design and visualization process in order to convey both emotions.

The owner previously cooperated with the office on Esca Freya, a brunch venue with warm vibes, and intended to channel more bold concepts into subsequent spots, which is where Esca Cueva was designed. Using green floors gave harmony and richness to the cave sense, making it more daring for visitors. Lighting design was made feasible with the help of Archilight.
