Art and technology seamlessly merge in the living installations of Bioo - Electricity from Nature. Following a net-zero energy approach, their proposal for Urban Confluence Silicon Valley presents a light tower and nature trail which are illuminated by touching plants. For the urban development proposal, we designed the sustainable landscape, created 3D representations and the visualization. With the images, the goal was to subtly demonstrate how plants can be seen as biological switches, placed within arm’s reach of pedestrians.
