The US Pacific Northwest is home to the historic, leafy campus of Oregon State University, just south of this beautiful state’s largest city of Portland.
As an expansion, also Portland based ZGF Architects designed the new Jen-Hsun and Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex, housing state-of-the-art laboratory and research facilities, as well as giving space to one of the world’s fastest university supercomputers.
Attention was given to keeping the scale and massing compatible with the classical proportions of surrounding historic buildings, along with the red brick facades that dominate the majority of the central campus.
Brick Visual delivered an array of exterior and interior images for the presentation of this interesting project, of which we wanted to share three of our favorites, displaying the main building with its elaborately patterned brick facades amidst the lush, surrounding greenery.
