A weekend house in the banks of the Tigris River, this house is tightly connected to the nature, it flows with the water a tilted cube facing a landmark and hiding between palm trees, the waterwheel works passively delivering water to the outdoor pool.
The composition tells a sequence starting from the photographer in the boat and moving the focus on a clockwise eye motion along the piece.
This project is my school project I did 14 years ago, I decided to re-make it using latest tools.
I used 3Ds Max 2016 with Built-in iRay GPU, and Photoshop CC for compositing. Modeling the house and the wheels was made with the help of AutoCAD and Revit.
Total time including modeling was approx 32 hours. Rendering time took 14 minutes on 2 Nvidia Teska K40.
