this rendering is of a cabin in Crested Butte, CO. I did some research to see what the landscape and tree types were, and then went to town with my huge library of foliage and created background and foreground for the only thing 3D in the scene which is the cabin itself. After the rendering was complete, I took it into a paint program and manually blurred the hard edges of the stone work wherever the image maps turn a corner. The owner was a doctor who apparently thinks 5000sf is still a cabin.
