Casa Gap
The Gap House was more than just a project for me; it was a genuine source of inspiration. Wes, a client from the United States, contacted me. He presented architectural visualizations for an incredible project: a stunning chalet set in the heart of a forest in North Carolina.
He brought me all the details of the project, including a 3D model that was used for his study, references of certain environments and even photographs of trees and species native to the region. I put all these elements together to create my visual panel and align it with his vision.
But what really motivates me is to give each project a unique personality, ensuring that they stand out from the crowd.

The interior

I studied interior design for a while, but soon discovered that my real passion lay in the three-dimensional world of 3D. This area allows me to create and explore my creativity in a unique way, especially when it comes to selecting materials and furniture. Personally, I love the art of creating environments and composing spaces, considering how those who live there would experience every detail.
My process began with a meticulous selection of a color palette that simultaneously conveyed a sense of warmth and sophistication. I opted for neutral tones that, combined with the surrounding nature in all seasons, ensured a consistent experience. Imagine fall, with its explosion of cores outside, unfolding like a painting. Or summer, with the green of the trees creating a perfect contrast.
This approach aims not only to create a visually appealing environment, but also a space that resonates with everyday life and the experiences of those who inhabit it. It's a harmony between aesthetics and functionality that really makes a project captivating.
The bedroom

Continuing in the same creative vein, I wanted the room to convey a sense of comfort, security and sophistication. An incredible space to recline in the afternoon, admire the sunset, savor a cup of tea, immerse yourself in a good book or simply enjoy the tranquility with a cup of tea.
To achieve this cozy and elegant atmosphere, I began by selecting furniture that mixed functionality with style. I opted for warm and inviting wooden furniture, such as a striking bed with soft sheets, quilted blankets and soft striped pillows for a touch of whimsy. A comfortable armchair by the window invited reading and contemplation.
The light played a key role in creating the desired atmosphere. Choose bright lights with a classic touch, with a reddish hue to infuse warmth into the space.
Finally, carefully chosen details such as an elegant tea tray and a small reading nook gave the room a personal and practical touch. The end result was a room that not only invited relaxation, but also exuded the feeling of an intimate retreat, perfect for moments of tranquillity and contemplation.
And finally ...
I've left these images until last, so that you can enjoy and immerse yourself in this space. The atmosphere created here invites you to relax and enjoy the view. Enjoy the Gap House in the fall mood.
Make yourself at home!
I hope you enjoyed it!
