This image was created in Maya and rendered using Mental Ray’s linear work flow. I created all the artwork on the wall. I used the movie poster for “Them” for the tall painting. The painting above the fire place is a still from the short film “Spaceman on Earth” where a super hero Spaceman fights his way through car chases, raygun battles, and monsters to prove he is not a communist in 1950’s America (2009). The Dave Bowman suit from 2001 Space Odyssey was positioned using Maya’s cloth dynamics. Everything was composited in After Effects using no photoshop
