GROWTH:
Current architectural approaches succeed in conceiving coherent structures through different operations of morphology. However through the gradual change of single components space loses the variety of sensations. New approaches using growth and evolution as technique offer the advantage of pertaining the legibility of particular areas with their specific characteristics, sensations, spontaneity, and atmospheres within the integrity of the whole. Therefore the aim was to develop a cellular system, which evokes out of a basic cell. Through a process of merging and adopting these singular cells are combined to create systems of high complexity and dependency. This method has the potential to evolve towards two directions exposed or enclosed spaces.
Supplementary each new species deals with new micro-behavior, coping with different tasks. These behaviors counteract the linear process of evolution and have the ability to re-generate and develop in another direction: For instance out of an enclosed cell a stair-like micro-behavior evolves. This structure in turn develops a new micro-behavior and therefor closes the evolution circuit.
