Indonesia is an agricultural country because most of the population works in the agricultural sector. On the other side, the growth rate of development in Indonesia is also high.
The development growth includes buildings, roads, bridges and one of them is housing. Housing in Indonesia consists of the lower, middle and upper classes. The housing development requires a large amount of land. Housing development usually uses a lot of rice fields purchased by housing developers who offer high prices, so that farmers are interested and willing to sell their rice fields.
In certain areas more land is planted with houses than rice is planted. Can Indonesia still be called an agrarian country if in the future more rice fields are sold for housing?
