Short Title: Essence

Introduction:
"Essence" is a personal, non-commercial 3D architectural visualization showcasing Tadao Ando's Church of the Light (Ibaraki Kasugaoka Church), an emblem of modern Japanese architecture. This piece is designed to reflect the poignant interaction between light and structure, hallmarks of Tadao Ando's minimalist approach.
Inspiration:
Inspired by the serene and contemplative nature of Tadao Ando's Church of the Light, this visualization aims to capture not just the architectural design, but the emotional and spiritual ambiance it invokes. My goal is to transport viewers to a space of reflection and tranquility, mirroring the experience of being within the church itself.
Technical Overview:
For this visualization, I used industry-standard software including 3ds Max, using FStormRender to achieve the realistic lighting that characterizes the space. Animation sequences and visual effects were composed in After Effects, while the final editing and color correction were completed in DaVinci Resolve.
Musical Accompaniment:
The narrative is enhanced by "Trampoline (Stripped)" by Shaed, whose tranquil melody harmonizes with Ando's minimalist design philosophy.
About the Church of the Light:
The Church of the Light, a work by the renowned architect Tadao Ando, is a fascinating intersection of nature, light, and spirituality. Nestled in Ibaraki, Osaka, Japan, the church is famous for its minimalist use of concrete and the way natural light filters through the cross cut out in the concrete wall, creating a contemplative and serene environment.
