Hello people. This is the Neue Nationalgalerie from Mies Van der Rohe. The model is actually from Ronen Bekerman's challenge, I didn't have time to work on it but i followed the topic and did this images later when i had some free time. For the exhibition i decided to turn the building into a small oceanarium with several aquariums. It's probably not feasible but it was for the fun of it!

Hi guys, this is not much of an architecture rendering so it doesn't really belong here but i wanted to share it with you anyway!
I'm a lot into matte painting lately and somehow into New York scenarios! So this is a matte painting inspired by Paris rolling over in the movie Inception. It's a more dramatic approach than the one in the movie. I wanted to show more what would happen if you would literally roll the ground: explosions everywhere, buildings crashing, etc. This is in New York City btw.

hi all,
time to share this one for some C&C.
Rendering done for Malcotti-Roussey architects, this project is located in St Dié, France. Full3d piece except the right top branch as you can see.
Ground vegetation is from my own grass models, scattered with various instances of Forest and surface shapes. The "atmospheric" effects is post done in PS using a Zdepth pass.
Another interesting point is that all the trees have been rendered "green" in the raw render (except the light ones that are closer the building and from my own library), i managed the autumn color correction easily and quickly in post using few different matids per group of trees and vray multimatte pass...

long time that i didnt share any renderings, here i come with 2 images done for an architectural competition.
Architecte: Revertegat, Marseille
Tools: Max+Vray+PS

One interesting point about this job is the work on the perforated corten skin that covers the walls. There is 2 types of skins that sometimes overlap or not, regarding the openings and windows...i especially spent time on the setting of those corten materials using custom displacement/opacity/diffuse maps.
