This piece is a revision of a commercial piece I did a few months ago. I spent about 2 or 3 days on it total. I wanted to push the coloring and atmosphere into the realm of surreal. I really enjoy working on natural scenes in 3d. Something about the challenge of recreating nature with the generally rigid tools of 3D art is fun to me.

There are some parts of the image I would change if I went back, but generally I'm fairly happy with it. C&C always welcome. Anyway, hope you enjoy it!

The client did not want to go to the expense of a verified view but still wanted a decent photo-match. Not an uncommon request but its one that can make life interesting when you are still being asked for accuracy. Thankfully I had survey data of the old building and a photo with decent 2 point perspective. A 'decent' match was possible.
