Everything here is modeled, or scattered using multiscatter. The trees in the foreground are made with the help of Onyx, and multiscatter again. I made some of the plants from scratch and others are purchased. I tried to spend a lot of time on materials and lots of details in the modeling. I did some really heavy post work, mostly getting the colors / lighting just right.

This is a private residence in California.

hi guys............................. this is some renders of my architectural project(design 5-residential complex)in my college.before speak about renders let me talk about the concepts and inspiration .this design is a copy from salk institute(luise kahn).the master concept in this complex is ( permanency) and i find it from one of best designs in the world(salk institute).the first sketches of my designs it was very similar like kahn design and my teacher said(it does not matter. let the institute to change a residential) i think its ok and good experience to Rejuvenating Modern Art..........(softwares:3dsmax 2013.........vray 2.......adobe PS(magic photolooks)........perfect effects 3)

My First real attempt at using vray sun. Ive tried to use it before but i always get strange artifacts in my renderings, so i usually just resort to interior (nighttime) lighting. For this piece i actually like the result but im there are things i wish to improve.

The Shadows the sun creates are kind of grainy, and it seems to create a grainy affect in the whole space i usually don't get when i use IES interior lights. The Sun light also seems to wash the whole space with a warm color. Its kind of nice but i would like some objects to retain a little more of their original color. If i could just get rid of this grainy/splotchy look i would be pretty happy. I should also mention that im using a environment map for lighting too.

If someone could looks at my settings to offer suggestions on how to fix these issues i would really appreciate it.

Test render and Vray Sun settings:

For these render settings it was just a test render, but for a final render i would usually just increase the render size to 3168*2376, irradiance map to :very high light cache to 3000 and the render region division to 16.. If there are better settings for a final render please inform me :)

Generally im happy with what it can look like after photoshop but, as i said if i could get rid of those imperfections i mentioned earlier and just find the best render settings possible i be very grateful. Thanks for any and all feedback!:)

Hi all! I've recently finish a new artwork made for the Archviz Endurance Challenge #1 @Treddi.com. We had to work starting with a premade house modelled by Nicolce (Site Admin) and developing it into something more complex to create an image. I'm very happy for the final result, I tried to recreate an ambiguos situation, a little contrast between the relaxing mood/tone of the image and the anxiety for the dangerous situation of the child. The composition is made to bring the eyes from left to right without difficult. This artwork is about 30% rendering and a 70% mattepainting, I'll post some phase of works as soon as possible. 3ds Max Arion Render

This is a project I used to test SSS, coatings, and glass absorption.

Here are some details from the original full-sized render:

I worked on this for about a week. The 2400x2400 pixel image rendered for 8 hours. The porcelain sink and ceramic mug are actually SSS. There is a little more info about the project on my blog if you are interested. :)
