I haven't posted anything in quite some time, so i thought I would try and get into the habit of it again.
This project was a little out of the realm of where my focus currently is in regards to projects, but I thought I would share it anyway.
The project was for 2 images showing the contextual qualities of an auto mall that was in the planning stages. One shot needed to be an aerial, showing how the mall fit in to the surrounding context. The other needed to be a street view, showing the character and feel of what the street might be like after the mall is built. Currently the street is " permanently” road blocked, and this project proposes removal of that roadblock.
The project started with a basic 2d line drawing depicting building location, site boundary, and parking layout. From that point it took roughly 1 person roughly 30 hours to completion of both images. Not a straight 30 hours of course.
A fairly basic NPR treatment was given to the images since the layout and design are only in a planning stage, and have not received the attention they will once the project proceeds.
