VizReimaginationVenture-Riyadh Expo 2030

On November 21, 2021, the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) announced in Paris that Riyadh will host the 2030 World Expo. This marks Saudi Arabia's first hosting of such a grand event since 1984. Riyadh is set to shine on the global stage, showcasing Saudi achievements in technology innovation, cultural heritage, and sustainable development.

Global renowned architecture firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture (AS+GG) will create pavilions for the 2030 Riyadh Expo, each showcasing different themes. AS+GG's designs typically integrate elements of Saudi traditional culture with advanced technological innovations, aiming to modernize and globalize their expression through modern technological means. Drawing inspiration from Arabic news and visual materials from the Riyadh 2030 Expo website, our team has endeavored to reinterpret the visual effects of the pavilions. Based on news and videos, it is evident that the 2030 Expo pavilions will employ cutting-edge virtual reality and augmented reality technologies. Therefore, our team has transformed the conceptual design of the pavilions into an immersive visual experience, presenting not only the architectural lines and spatial layout but also interactive displays within virtual environments. This allows visitors to personally experience the innovative concepts and functional features of the pavilions, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of their role and significance at the Expo.
——
This Expo promises substantial economic benefits and tourism revenues for Riyadh and its surroundings. As the first Middle Eastern city to host a World Expo, Riyadh 2030 will serve as a pivotal platform for global cultural exchange and cooperation, fostering diversity and mutual understanding in our interconnected world. Let's look forward to 2030 together!

Stay tuned for more updates on the VRV project!
